Aalyria has been selected to take part in the new Airbus UpNext SpaceRAN (Space Radio Access Network) demonstrator, whose mission is to test standardized global 5G Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN) connectivity. Aalyria and Anduril Industries have signed a teaming agreement to integrate two key technologies that will advance the all-domain command and control of national security capabilities. The new company is commercializing these technologies with both private sector and government partners, already securing an initial $8m contract with the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) to help develop secure internet connectivity throughout the space domain for both private and public sector customers.
