The Consortium for State and Regional Interoperability (CSRI) Appoints New CEO
The Consortium for State and Regional Interoperability (CSRI), a collection of the nation’s largest and most robust nonprofit health data networks, formally announced today the appointment of J. Marc Overhage, M.D., Ph.D., as Chief Executive Officer, effective January 2026. Overhage succeeds John Kansky, President and Chief Executive Officer of Indiana Health Information Exchange (IHIE), who has served for the past four years and will continue to serve on the CSRI Board of Directors. The appointment was first disclosed during the webinar “Introducing the CSRI Health Data Utility Capability Model” hosted by CSRI and Civitas Networks for Health® on October 28, 2025, and this release provides additional details for the broader community and media.
